I’ve been living in Toronto, Ontario since the late ’70s. I have been creating, a maker of things, since way before then.
I have taken art classes in a wide variety of techniques including: watercolour, collage, textile arts, batik, mosaics, pottery, raku, print making, and mindfulness in art. I have also facilitated art workshops for individuals living with cognitive impairment, their family caregivers, cancer survivors and the general public.
I have participated in many art shows and sales over the years. I even managed to have one of my pieces at a special exhibition at the Gardiner Museum of Ceramics here in Toronto.
In addition to being a maker of things, I am also an avid lover and active supporter of live music. For several years, I led a posse of passionate music aficionados in the pursuit of fantastic musicians performing on stages (large and quite small) across the GTA.
This past summer, my attention was drawn to creating a sky high garden on my balcony and trying to understand the science behind fluid acrylics. Dear knows where my path of creativity will take me next.
Please be to sure to join me as I continue my explorations in art, music and life.
